Koodo Reader - About Pro Version

Why Launch a Pro Version?

It has been five years since the first version of Koodo Reader was released. As the project has grown, we have incurred fixed annual expenses for domains and servers, and these costs are trending upwards. To cover these expenses and support the long-term development of Koodo Reader, we have decided to introduce a Pro version.

Feature Comparison: Pro vs. Free Version

The Pro version adds support for Android and iOS platforms compared to the Free version (The iOS version is still under development) . In terms of data synchronization, the Free version only supports synchronization between Windows/macOS/Linux versions using third-party synchronization software. In contrast, the Pro version uses your linked cloud storage, WebDAV, or object storage accounts to achieve cross-platform data synchronization, including desktop, web, and mobile versions.

How to Participate in the Beta Testing for Pro Version?

Desktop Version: You can directly download it from Github Release. The Pro and Free versions share the same installation package. After logging into your account, it will automatically switch from the Free version to the Pro version.
Web Version: You can visit https://web.koodoreader.com/. The Pro and Free versions share the same website. Please go to Setting→Account→Add login option. After logging into your account, it will automatically switch from the Free version to the Pro version.
Android Version: You can directly download it from Github Release. Find the file ending with .apk in the installation package list and install it.
